Swedish Defence Minister Paul Jonsson has revealed that his country is ready to consider sending troops to Ukraine if such a proposal comes from NATO.
The minister’s words are reported by Breaking Defence.
Jonsson emphasised that at the moment there is no concrete proposal to send the military to Ukraine from the North Atlantic allies.
“If it appears, we can take it under consideration,” he said.
Earlier, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said the alliance had no plans to send troops to Ukraine. He noted that Kiev had not asked for this.
