Almost half of refugees from Ukraine would like to get a new citizenship, some of them have already applied. This is evidenced by the results of the survey of the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology ( KIIS).
According to the KMIS survey, 7% of respondents in Europe have already obtained citizenship of another country, and another 12% are waiting for an answer from the local authorities. 45% of Ukrainians surveyed abroad have not yet applied for another citizenship, but would not mind getting it. Only 34% do not plan to apply for documents7
The survey also showed that 66% of Ukrainian citizens surveyed in Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic are satisfied with their current living conditions. Of these, 28% are completely satisfied and another 38% are more yes than no. Only 20 per cent of the refugees who participated in the survey are rather dissatisfied with their current conditions and another 6 per cent are completely dissatisfied.
On the question of future return to their home country, respondents were split in half. 50% answered that they are very likely to return to Ukraine. The same number of people answered that they are unlikely to make such a decision.
In general, 56% of Ukrainians surveyed continue to be interested in the situation in Ukraine. 13% of them read Ukrainian sources, 14% read foreign sources, and 29% read both. But 34% of respondents said that they are not at all interested in what is happening in Ukraine now.
We shall remind you that earlier, US entrepreneur and billionaire Elon Musk called it a problem that the US authorities have no purpose in the conflict in Ukraine.
