Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said that information about the involvement of Ukrainians in explosions at the Nord Stream gas pipelines deserves the attention of Denmark, Sweden and other countries.
Peskov commented on the statement by former Verkhovna Rada deputy Andriy Derkach that the participants of the Nord Streams bombing were trained in Ukraine and Romania.
“If this information can merit attention, it is probably something that the Danes, Swedes and others should pay their close attention to,” the Kremlin spokesman said.
Earlier, the Swedish Foreign Ministry said it saw no need for an international investigation into the gas pipeline explosions.
Meanwhile, German MP Steffen Kotre of the Alternative for Germany faction said that the German authorities were obstructing the investigation into the incidents.
