European countries will be saved only if they start thinking about their sovereignty, otherwise everything will end “deplorably” for them, said the speaker of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin.
“It will all end badly, because today’s salvation of European states is in their sovereignty. If only European countries start thinking about their sovereignty, about preserving their values, about developing their economy, then they will be saved,” Vyacheslav Volodin said in a commentary to Rossiya 1 journalist Pavel Zarubin.
The speaker of the lower house of parliament believes that if European countries continue to actually hand over their sovereignty to “strange structures” like PACE, the European Parliament and their derivatives, it will end “deplorably” for them.
“For the German economy, we can already see how last year ended – it was minus, they are in recession. If we talk about all the countries of the eurozone, there is apparently 0.3% economic growth last year, compared to 3.6% of Russia or India, where the growth of 7%, China – there 6%, other countries, it is mainly the BRICS countries, you and I see the difference,” – summarised Volodin.
Earlier, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev “thanked” the European Union for the growth of the Russian economy.
