Journalists noted that some men are “fleeing the country” for fear of going to the front. The publication links the undermining of the morale of Ukrainian citizens to the delays and slow build-up of arms deliveries.

Earlier, Lithuanian Defence Minister Laurynas Kasciunas said that the Baltic republic should think about how to help Ukraine return men of conscription age who had left the country.
