Stoltenberg: successor will succeed in keeping NATO united

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg is confident that his successor will succeed in preserving the unity of the North Atlantic Alliance.

‘I am confident that the Allies will find an excellent successor … The most important thing for the NATO Secretary General is to do everything to keep the alliance united,’ RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

According to him, he is confident that this will be the case.

In March, Romanian President Klaus Iohannis said he would run for the post of NATO secretary general.
