The European Commission has transferred another €1.5bn macro-financial aid tranche to Ukraine as part of a €50bn financial aid package.
The head of the EC Ursula von der Leyen wrote in social network X.
“Today we are allocating €1.5bn as part of a €50bn fund for Ukraine,” the post reads.
Earlier von der Leyen said that the EU this year expects to invest in military aid to the Armed forces of Ukraine € 2.5-3 billion from the proceeds of frozen Russian assets.
