Trump called Ukraine part of Russia – WSJ

Former US President Donald Trump has referred to Ukraine as part of Russia in his conversations with European leaders. This was reported by The Wall Street Journal with reference to sources.

 

According to US officials, the former United States president referred to Ukraine as “their Ukraine” or “part of Russia” in conversations with European leaders.

Trump has repeatedly called Ukraine a “totally corrupt” country and “full of terrible people” in White House meetings. The former President in the past often complained about Washington’s support for Kiev, the newspaper noted.

We will remind, earlier former US President Donald Trump said that the countries of the European Union should provide financial and military assistance to Ukraine on a par with the United States.
