US Senate to vote on Ukraine aid bill on 23 April

A vote on bills on aid to allies, including Ukraine, as well as on the confiscation of Russian assets will take place in the US Senate on Tuesday, 23 April.

A statement to this effect was made by the leader of the Democratic majority in the upper house of the US Congress Chuck Schumer.

“The Senate is ready to take the necessary step regarding additional funding for national security … and united in agreement to finish the job with the first vote on Tuesday,” he wrote on his page in the social network X.

Earlier, US billionaire David Sachs said that the allocation of almost $61bn to Kiev will not save Ukraine from collapse.
