The Russian Army has destroyed an AFU Su-25 aircraft – Russian Defence Ministry

The Russian Armed Forces shot down an Su-25 aircraft and also hit an aviation fuel storage facility of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported by the Russian Defence Ministry on 20 April.

 

According to the military ministry, over the past 24 hours Russian troops shot down an Su-25 aircraft and 213 AFU drones, as well as destroyed five French-made Hammer guided aerial bombs.

“Operational-tactical aviation, missile troops and artillery of groups of troops of the Russian Armed Forces hit a storage facility for aviation fuel of the Ukrainian air forces and two transport infrastructure facilities used for military purposes,” the Russian Defence Ministry said in a statement.

In addition, the Russian army eliminated the enemy’s manpower in 112 special operation areas.

Earlier, Russian Defence Minister Sergey Shoygu said that the Russian Armed Forces were continuing their offensive actions, pushing the Ukrainian army westwards.
