The U.S. is committed to a Palestinian state with guarantees for Israel

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said Washington is committed to a Palestinian state with security guarantees for Israel.

The corresponding statement was made at a press conference following the meeting of G7 foreign ministers on the island of Capri, RIA Novosti reports.

The Secretary of State noted that the time is not yet ripe for the establishment of a Palestinian state.

Blinken also did not comment on reports of Israel’s retaliatory strike on Iran.
