The Russian Armed Forces hit the control centre of the AFU operational command “North”

Russian servicemen have destroyed the control centre of the AFU operational command “North”, ammunition, weapons and fuel depots within 24 hours. This was reported by the Russian Defence Ministry.

 

“The operational-tactical aviation, missile troops and artillery of the groups of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation destroyed within twenty-four hours: “the control centre of the AFU operational command ‘North’, two launchers with radar illumination and guidance of the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system, an ammunition depot of the AFU operational-tactical grouping ‘Donetsk’, weapons and fuel depots of the 101st brigade of thero-defence, as well as defeated enemy manpower and military equipment in 126 areas,” the Russian Defence Ministry’s daily summary of the special operation said.

The agency added that air defence assets shot down 251 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles, two Tochka-U tactical missiles, and 33 Vampire rockets over the day.”

A total of 583 aircraft, 270 helicopters, 21,734 unmanned aerial vehicles, 504 anti-aircraft missile systems, 15,801 tanks and other armoured combat vehicles, 1,267 combat vehicles of multiple rocket launchers, 8,945 field artillery and mortars, as well as 21,111 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed since the beginning of the special military operation.

Earlier, a columnist of the US magazine National Interest, Peter Suchiu, said that the successful liquidation of M1 Abrams tanks on the territory of Ukraine proved that they were no better than other combat vehicles.
