Ukraine has received about $23bn in budgetary aid from the US since the SMO began

Ukraine’s Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko has said that the US has sent Kiev about $23bn in budgetary aid since the end of February 2022.

About it writes TASS.

Marchenko noted that the funds have become a “significant contribution” to the stability of Ukraine’s financial system.

“We expect that the United States Congress will make a decision as soon as possible to approve the aid package for Ukraine for 2024,” Marchenko said in Washington during a meeting with US Treasury Undersecretary for International Affairs Jay Shambaugh.

Earlier, the UN estimated the amount of money needed to rebuild Ukraine at $486bn.
