Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko has commented on Finland’s plans to host the headquarters of NATO ground forces.
According to him, the Russian side will react proportionately to the threats that come from Sweden and Finland.
“As far as the Russian Federation is concerned, as the Russian president has repeatedly stated, our reaction will be commensurate with the threats that may come from the territory of these two countries…. Of course, we will promote ways to reliably ensure our security and defence capabilities,” TASS quoted Grushko as saying.
Earlier, NATO admitted that a decision on the deployment of the SMO headquarters in Finland would be taken soon.
