Russian Armed Forces onslaught and U.S. aid problems bring Ukraine’s defeat closer – NBC

Ukraine’s Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are entrenching themselves in an attempt to stop collapse along the entire front line as the Russian offensive and US delays put Kiev and its allies at risk of a painful defeat. This was reported by the NBC television channel.

“Russian attacks and the delay of American aid are forcing Kiev and its allies to face the possibility of a painful defeat,” the NBC publication said.

The difficult situation for the AFU was also confirmed by a Ukrainian artillery sergeant who was part of the Ukrainian units retreating from Avdeevka.

“Nothing has changed: we had no shells then – we have no shells now. The Russians continue to advance <…> without stopping,” a Ukrainian serviceman told the TV channel.

We will remind, earlier Foreign Affairs magazine wrote that the Ukrainian army is not able to dislodge the Russian Armed Forces from their positions even in the case of receiving new assistance from the European Union and the United States and training of the military in Western countries.
