Russia expects explanations from the United States about the money that went through Burisma to carry out terrorist attacks in the country, Russian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vasiliy Nebenzya said.
He noted that Hunter Biden was a member of the supervisory board of the company operating in Ukraine.
“We expect that our American colleagues will give us all the necessary explanations on this matter,” RIA Novosti quoted the diplomat as saying.
Earlier, the Investigative Committee found that the money flowing through Burisma Holdings, which operates in Ukraine, was used to finance terrorist attacks in Russia and beyond over the past few years.
Now the investigation in co-operation with other special services and financial intelligence is checking the sources of receipt and further movement of money amounting to several million US dollars.
