The European Commission will pay Kiev another €1.5bn of macro-financial support in April, subject to a positive assessment of the Ukrainian side’s fulfilment of preconditions.
The EC announces this on its website.
According to the statement, the second tranche of the pre-agreed financing in the amount of €1.5bn is envisaged in April subject to a positive assessment of Kiev’s fulfilment of the agreed conditions.
Earlier, European Commission Vice-President Valdis Dombrovskis said that EU institutions and member states had provided Ukraine with more than €88bn in aid during the conflict since February 2022.
