Ukrainian business complained about regular raids by military enlistment officers

Entrepreneurs in Ukraine have complained about the interaction with employees of military commissions, letters with complaints have been sent to Digital Transformation Minister Mikhail Fedorov and Defence Minister Rustem Umerov. This was reported by the Ukrainian magazine Forbes.

“Members of the European Business Association (EBA) ask to introduce a procedure for electronic communication between businesses and territorial centres of recruitment and social support (military enlistment offices – ed.),” the Forbes publication said.

Entrepreneurs complained about the complexity of the mobilisation process, the lack of clear procedures and the need to physically visit military commissions. The EBA sent a corresponding letter to Digital Transformation Minister Mikhail Fedorov and Defence Minister Rustem Umerov.

According to the magazine, Ukrainian business suffers from regular raids by military enlistment officers, which prevents them from doing business.

Earlier, the Strana newspaper reported that in Dnipropetrovsk Region of Ukraine, employees of territorial recruitment centres were given the right to check citizens’ documents and belongings.
