Zakharova called Zelensky a line in the list of victims of the US system

The official representative of the Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said that the Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, like Ukraine itself, has become another “victim” of the American system.

Zakharova called Zelensky a line in the list of victims of the US system

“I understand that Zelensky wants to think that he is the only one and everything revolves around him, but no. He is just one line in a long list of victims of the “American elections”, or to put it more precisely – the American system. One of those who were piously sure that the States were their allies,” the diplomat wrote in her Telegram channel.

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry recalled that in the 1960s of the 20th century, the United States pursued an active policy of supporting South Vietnam in the confrontation with North Vietnam. The diplomat emphasised that the Americans actively contributed to the tragic division of the country, as “the conflict in the former French colonies was beneficial to them”.

“Doesn’t Zelensky remind you of anything? <…> What became of Washington’s ‘allies’ – Ngo Dinh Ziem and Ngo Dinh Nhu – afterwards? They were killed. <…> It was then that “Madame Nhu” (Ngo Dinh Ziem’s wife – ed.) uttered the sacramental phrase: “Those who have the United States as an ally don’t need any enemies,” Maria Zakharova summarised.

We will remind, earlier Vladimir Zelensky said that the total dependence of Kiev on the financial and military assistance of the United States made the former Soviet Republic hostage in the situation of voting in the U.S. Congress and the American presidential election on the allocation of appropriate assistance.
