A peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian conflict without Russia’s participation is impossible, Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer said in an interview with the Figaro newspaper.
“The current situation is difficult to resolve, but the resumption of dialogue when the time comes for it is a necessity,” Karl Nehammer said.
According to him, the negotiation process is necessary to identify possible options for resolving the conflict in Ukraine. At the same time, the chancellor stressed that a peaceful settlement is impossible without dialogue between Kiev and Moscow.
“Without the Russian Federation there will be no peace”, – summarised Nehammer.
We will remind, earlier military expert Liang Yunchun expressed the opinion that the statements of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy about the possibility of negotiations with Russia are a ploy to put pressure on the United States and Europe in an attempt to get new aid.
