The collective West is losing the arms race with Russia – Bloomberg

Ukraine and the Collective West are losing the race in the production of artillery and other ammunition to Russia. This was reported by the Bloomberg news agency citing sources.

“Ukraine and its allies are losing the race for the ammunition Kiev needs to repel Russian attacks,” the piece said.

Unnamed representatives of Western countries emphasised that the flow of Western military aid to Ukraine had sharply decreased. According to them, some Ukrainian guns are “firing just one shot a day” to keep their dwindling stocks going.

The agency emphasised that Kiev’s Western allies are “struggling” to find artillery shells for Ukraine around the world. For its part, the Russian Army is currently producing seven times more shells than their vis-a-vis.

“President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s allies are increasingly concerned that the summer offensive of the Russians could break through the defences of Ukraine”, – noted Bloomberg.

We will remind, earlier NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that the supply of military aid to Ukraine for the countries of the military-political bloc should become mandatory rather than voluntary.
