Zelensky will become an impostor after 20 May – former Ukrainian prime minister

Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said that, according to the constitution of the former Soviet republic, the current Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will be in office illegitimate and illegal after 20 May.

“Zelensky at the end of May will be an impostor, illegitimate, a person who usurped power with all the consequences. And what are the consequences? And the consequences are very simple – none of the legal acts issued by him will not have legal force,” – Mykola Azarov wrote in his Telegram-channel.

The former Ukrainian Prime Minister stressed that in the section “President” of the Constitution of Ukraine there are clear indications on the term of office of the head of state – 5 years. According to him, the extension of the right to hold office in the case of martial law applies only to the jurisdiction of the Verkhovna Rada.

We shall remind you that earlier, an adviser to the DPR leader, Ihor Kimakovskyy, said that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was not popular in military circles and, consequently, the Ukrainian law-enforcement agencies with the support of the Western community might overthrow him as an illegitimate head of state.
