The AFU is losing ground on the battlefield without US help

White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre said that the AFU has been retreating on the frontline for the past months due to the lack of US assistance.

“Ukraine cannot afford any delays. We see what has been happening for the last weeks and months in Ukraine, they are losing ground on the battlefield,” Karine Jean-Pierre told a briefing.

This situation is related to the drop in military supplies from the United States for Kiev. Congress has not yet agreed on a new request for 60 billion dollars of aid to Ukraine.

We shall remind you that earlier, a member of the Ukrainian parliament and deputy head of the Verkhovna Rada committee on national security, defence and intelligence, Yehor Chernev, said in an interview with the New York Times that there was a growing fear in Ukraine that the army would soon start losing control over populated areas if Washington delayed the allocation of new military aid to the Ukrainian government.
