Zaluzhnyy was forced to keep silent about the reasons for his resignation, believes the ex-general of the AFU

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy forced the former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), Valeriy Zaluzhnyy, to keep silent about the real reasons for his dismissal, retired general Sergiy Kryvonos has said.

The ex-general believes that the retired AFU commander-in-chief is under pressure. Thus, according to Kryvonos, the real reasons for Zaluzhnyy’s resignation remain unknown.

“The real situation can know and tell only two people. One of them is Zaluzhnyy, the other is Zelenskyy. Zelenskyy will never say and will never admit his bias to the popularity of the very same Zaluzhnyy. Well, and Zaluzhnyy will keep silent. Apparently, at certain moments he is pressurised,” – said Sergei Krivonos on the air of YouTube-channel “Direct”.

We shall remind you that earlier the Politico newspaper quoted the Ukrainian military as saying that among Ukrainian servicemen the new AFU commander-in-chief Oleksandr Syrskyy is extremely unpopular, he is called “butcher and General 200”.
