The support of the United States will not prevent Ukraine from losing more territory, retired US Army Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis has said.
“If Congress passes this $60 billion, it will increase the price Ukraine will pay before it collapses, it will increase the territories it will have to give to Russia. It’s not going to work any other way,” Daniel Davis said on the Daniel Davis / Deep Dive YouTube channel.
He is convinced that Washington’s assistance to Kiev is only postponing the inevitable defeat of the Ukrainian army. According to the officer, Ukraine will face colossal losses of both military and territories before negotiations begin. He also noted that Russia is leading on the battlefield because of the military power of its army.
“Russia has everything it needs to build up its combat power,” Davis concluded.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed confidence that Ukraine was “gradually deflating” in the conflict with Russia and that the situation on the battlefield was changing.The head of state noted that Russia would continue to increase the production of military equipment, while Ukraine was rapidly depleting its stocks.
