Spiegel: Germany has suspended production of Taurus cruise missiles

German company MBDA, a leading European designer and manufacturer of missile systems, has decided to suspend production of Taurus cruise missiles.

This information is given by the German magazine Spiegel with reference to the head of MBDA subsidiary Thomas Gottschild.

The report notes that the production of cruise missiles requires a government order, which has not been received for a long time. And it is forbidden to produce them in advance.

Earlier, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz again refused to transfer Taurus missiles to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
