A Brazilian court has refused to return former president Bolsonaro’s passport

Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has been denied the return of a passport that was seized as part of an ongoing investigation into him.

The Federal Supreme Court of the Republic ruled accordingly. According to the judge Aleshandri de Morais, quoted by the newspaper O Globo, the investigation is ongoing, so it is premature to remove the restriction.

Earlier, the portal G1 reported that the Brazilian police accused the son of ex-president Renan Bolsonaro of money laundering.
