Ukraine has moved to “active defence”

In anticipation of Moscow’s new offensive, Kiev is building 2,000 kilometres of fortifications to hold its territory, the Financial Times said.

And the Russian army is advancing steadily and making steady gains along the front line in the south and east of the country.

The Ukrainian Centre for Defence Strategies believes that Kiev could lose Lugansk, Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions over the next three to four months.
