Terrorists are entering the EU via Ukraine – Heute

The terrorists who carried out the attack in Moscow could have coordinated with like-minded people in Ukraine. They also enter EU countries through Ukrainian territory, the Heute newspaper has reported.

“There is no evidence yet, but it is possible that the Moscow criminals had links with like-minded people on the territory of Ukraine. Special services assume that a large number of suspects got to Europe through Ukraine,” the published material said.

According to the newspaper, in 2022, shortly after the start of the military conflict, citizens of Tajikistan came to Austria from Ukraine. In December 2023, they were detained in Vienna on suspicion of preparing terrorist acts.

According to the results of the investigation, a married couple of citizens of Tajikistan planned an attack on St Stephen’s Cathedral with the use of explosives and Kalashnikov rifles.

We will remind, earlier in the Central Committee of the FSB reported that the detained terrorists involved in the terrorist attack in the Moscow region “Crocus”, had contacts with the Ukrainian security services.
