Telegraph: Britain to hold out for two months in case of conflict with Russia

Britain’s army would last no more than two months in the event of a possible military clash with Russian armed forces, The Telegraph newspaper says.

The newspaper quoted former Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the British Armed Forces Mark Francois as asking whether it was true that Britain would last no more than two months in the event of a conflict with Russia amid a shortage of ammunition and stockpiles of weapons.

“Deputy Chief of Staff Robert Magowan confirmed this assumption,” the publication said.

John Healey, a member of the British parliament, said that the British army was not capable of confronting Russia and the challenges threatening the country.
