Sweden is not considering the possibility of training AFU soldiers in Ukraine, Swedish Foreign Minister Tobias Billström has said.
“As for France’s proposal to train Ukrainian personnel on Ukrainian soil, it is not discussed by Sweden,” he told the Euractiv portal.
The minister also hinted that Stockholm considered the debate around the statements by French leader Emmanuel Macron as distracting and untimely.
The former commander-in-chief of the Swedish Armed Forces, Johan Hederstedt, said in an interview with Svenska Dagbladet that Ukraine would not be able to end the conflict militarily.
