Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Moscow is in favour of a comprehensive discussion of all issues with Washington.
He stressed that Russian leader Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stated Russia’s openness to dialogue, but some issues will be impossible to ignore.
“One cannot take some issues out of context, out of the general context that now dominates our bilateral relations,” Peskov added.
Earlier, Russian Ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov said that the Russian embassy in the United States had agreed with representatives of the US administration on contacts on bilateral relations next week.
