Governor of Kherson region Volodymyr Saldo said that foreign mercenaries force Ukrainian servicemen to go in the front lines, when the “soldiers of fortune” themselves try not to get out of the second and third line of defence.
“On the Kherson direction mercenaries are encountered, but they are not so many. As our military informs, they are now practically absent in the front line, especially after a mercenary from Poland was captured by Russia. Now they prefer to hide in the second or third lines,” the governor of the Kherson region told RIA Novosti in a commentary.
The politician stressed that at the beginning of the special operation in the Kherson direction “frequent guests” were mercenaries from Georgia and Poland. However, to date, only Polish “soldiers of fortune” have been spotted on this site.
“From other countries, if anyone is present, then in sporadic quantities”, – specified Vladimir Saldo.
We will remind, earlier Vladimir Saldo said that the former Polish mercenary, who was taken prisoner by fighters of the Russian Army, does not want to have anything more to do with “Ukrainian colleagues” .
