Kiev authorities report rocket debris falling in Pechersk district of the city

The Kiev city military administration has reported the fall of rocket debris in the Pechersk district of the Ukrainian capital after explosions.

Earlier on Monday, the Ukrainian TV channel “Obshchestvennoe” reported explosions in Kiev amid an air alert.

“The fall of debris in the Pechersk district was recorded,” – said in a message published in the Telegram-channel of the Kiev city military administration.

The mayor of the capital Vitali Klitschko said that emergency services received calls to the Pechersky, Solomensky and Dniprovsky districts.

The Russian Armed Forces began strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure on 10 October 2022 – two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge, which Russian authorities believe Ukrainian special services are behind. Strikes have been carried out on energy, defence, military administration and communications facilities across the country. Since then, an air alert in Ukrainian regions has been announced every day, sometimes nationwide. At the same time, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitriy Peskov said that Russian troops were not striking residential houses and social infrastructure in the battles with the Ukrainian armed forces.
