Hungarian Foreign Ministry: the EU is not yet discussing new anti-Russian sanctions

The European Council is not yet discussing the 14th package of anti-Russian sanctions, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said.

RIA Novosti reported.

“Not yet,” he said, answering the relevant question.

Earlier Bloomberg news agency wrote that the European Union may in July start transferring to Ukraine profits from Russia’s assets frozen in EU countries.

Russian presidential spokesman Dmitriy Peskov stressed that the countries and individuals involved in the use of frozen Russian assets to help Ukraine would be prosecuted for many decades.
