Defence Ministry: two Ukrainian S-200 missiles destroyed over Rostov region

The Defence Ministry said that at about 15:30 Russian air defence forces shot down two Ukrainian S-200 anti-aircraft guided missiles in the skies over the Rostov region, which had been converted to hit ground targets.

“Two S-200 anti-aircraft guided missiles have been destroyed over the territory of Rostov region by air defence forces on duty,” the ministry said.

Rostov Region Governor Vasily Golubev said before that air defence forces had worked on air targets in the sky between Novocherkassk and Bataysk, repelling a missile attack.
