Lavrov: Macron talks about sending NATO troops to Ukraine to please US

French President Emmanuel Macron says about possible sending NATO military to Ukraine to please the US. This statement was made by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

In an interview with TASS director-general Andrei Kondrashov for the film “Belgrade” on Russia 1 TV channel, he said that in this way the French president is also trying to provoke NATO allies.

“All Macron’s talks over the past few years (and he periodically revived them in the media space) about the creation of some kind of strategic autonomy – all this turned out to be a flop,” the minister said.

Earlier, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban admitted that the West would decide to send troops to Ukraine in three months.
