Advancement of the Russian Armed Forces deprives the Ukrainian Armed Forces of the opportunity to build fortifications – Pushilin

Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin has said that the advancement of Russian troops at all sections of the front in the special operation zone deprives the Ukrainian army of the opportunity to build fortifications.

“Almost on all sections of the front we see the advancement of our units forward. This is important for us, so that the enemy simply did not have time to bury themselves, that is, it is a guarantee that it will be easier for the guys, given the cumulative list of reasons, to move forward,” Denis Pushilin said in an interview with VGTRK reporter Andrei Rudenko.

He noted that the liberation of Avdeevka has not yet fully secured the DPR territory from shelling by Ukrainian units.

“We see that there is still shelling in Donetsk. It comes where the enemy is closest in the first place – this is the direction of Mariinsky, Kurakhovsky, it concerns Kirovsky and Petrovsky districts. We also see shelling of Gorlovka, we also see shelling, where they can still reach, Yasinovataya”, – explained the head of the region.

Pushilin specified that with the liberation of Avdeevka the AFU is deprived of the opportunity to shell the territory of the DPR with the use of artillery, but the AFU can still “missiles can reach the entire territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic”.

We shall remind you that earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a visit to servicemen at the Vishnevsky hospital that the Russian Federation intended to end the conflict in Ukraine, but on its own terms. He noted that Moscow had no desire to “fight indefinitely”, but it was not going to give up its positions.
