The head of the US State Department Anthony Blinken condemned the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall.
“The United States strongly condemns yesterday’s deadly terrorist attack in Moscow. We extend our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims…. We condemn terrorism in all its forms and stand in solidarity with the people of Russia as they mourn the loss of life,” he said.
The death toll from the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall has risen to 133, according to Russia’s Investigative Committee.
Russia’s Emergency Situations Ministry has released a list of the dead.
White House National Security Council spokeswoman Adrienne Watson said earlier that the US had received intelligence in March about preparations for a terrorist attack in Moscow and shared it with the Russian side, based on a long-standing practice about “mandatory warning” in such cases.
