Lithuania plans to allocate no less than 3% of GDP to defence from 2025 – parliamentary resolution

The Seimas of the Baltic republic supported it with 95 votes, no one voted against it, and 10 MPs abstained.

In 2025, defence spending should be planned at €2.38 billion, which will amount to 3% of GDP. In 2026 they should be increased to €2.5 billion, in 2027 – to €2.6 billion. 

In 2030, Vilnius plans to increase defence spending to €2.84 billion.
