WP: Ukraine can’t produce as many weapons on its own as the West is giving it

Ukraine’s production capacity is insufficient to compensate for declining military aid from the European Union and the United States.

The Washington Post said.

“Local production is not enough to compensate for the loss of international support, especially weapons from the United States,” the publication says.

The author of the article noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces need high-tech weapons systems. At the same time, it is emphasised that Ukraine cannot produce such weapons on its own.

Earlier, retired US Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis said that Western financial and military aid to Kiev would not be able to help the Ukrainian Armed Forces stop the advance of Russian troops.
