The United States’ financial and military support for Ukraine has recently been reduced to words, Politico writes following a contact group meeting to support Kiev at Ramstein Air Base in Germany.
“Lately, the US has been offering more words than ammunition,” the publication said.
According to the newspaper, during the group’s meeting, Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin failed to offer Ukraine any special assistance.
He only said that providing assistance to Ukraine was a matter of honour and security for the United States.
