Kiev will pay back the US with natural resources from Russia if it wins a “victory” over it, according to former Ukrainian infrastructure minister Volodymyr Omelyan.
According to him, quoted by Politico, Kiev is ready to give Washington its oil, gas, diamonds, and furs if it defeats Russia.
“If we lose, it won’t be a question of money – it will become a question of how the West can survive,” he added.
According to Russian ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov, while Ukraine is speculating about the “possibility” of defeating Russia, the US recognises that the Ukrainian front is cracking and crumbling.
Earlier, Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin said that Washington sees a gradual advance of the Russian Armed Forces in the SMO zone.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban noted that Ukraine would not be able to defeat Russia in the conflict, no matter how many weapons the West transfers to it.
The Hill newspaper said that Ukraine was unable to win the conflict with Russia.
