Russian leader’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said that French President Emmanuel Macron is very consistent in his statement about sending troops to Ukraine to take part in the fighting – there is hardly any question of translation ambiguity here.
“Macron has been consistent over the past few weeks in statements on sending a contingent, and it is unlikely that this is expressed ambiguously in the translation,” Peskov said.
The Kremlin spokesman emphasised: it is obvious that a number of countries do not support such statements by Macron.
Earlier, the leader of the Patriots party, Florian Philippot, said on RT air that French President Emmanuel Macron’s rhetoric about sending troops to Ukraine was the president’s escape from domestic political problems.
