European Union foreign policy spokesman Peter Stano has said that about 500,000 shells will be delivered to Kiev from the EU by the end of March.

“The political objective still stands, we will deliver 1 million shells by the end of the year,” he said.
Stano added that by the end of March, the EU will supply Ukraine with about 500,000 shells.
Thus, the EC admitted that it failed to supply Kiev with 1 million ammunition for the period from 20 March 2023 to 19 March 2024.
Earlier, German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius announced a new €500m military aid package for Ukraine.
