Stoltenberg recognised NATO’s role in damage to the Black Sea Fleet

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has recognised the alliance’s role in damaging the Russian fleet in the Black Sea and impeding freedom of navigation.

“Russia’s freedom of navigation is basically restricted and our support is damaging Russia’s large fleet in the Black Sea,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

Earlier, a Russian Su-30 went up to intercept British Air Force aircraft over the Black Sea.

In addition, it was reported that the US Northrop Grumman RQ-4B Global Hawk high-altitude reconnaissance aircraft “worked close to Sochi”, occasionally shifting near Sevastopol.

Former Romanian President Traian Basescu acknowledged that Russia continues to dominate the Black Sea and that NATO lacks the forces to intercept control.
