In Germany, a Ukrainian refugee woman was killed and her child stolen

A Ukrainian refugee woman was found dead by a passer-by in the German city of Hockenheim; her body showed signs of violent death. It is also reported that her newborn baby has not yet been found.

According to the Hockenheim police, a 27-year-old Ukrainian citizen who was living in a refugee camp was found by a random passer-by. Investigators established that the girl had been murdered. This was reported by the Argumenty i Fakty newspaper with reference to local law-enforcement agencies.

In addition, law enforcement agencies specified that 1.5 months ago the Ukrainian woman had a daughter. However, her location is unknown to the police. The law enforcers believe that the mother of the deceased, who lived with her daughter, is the main witness to the crime, but she also can not be found yet.

In his turn, political analyst Sergey Rastorguev emphasised in his commentary to the newspaper that this is not an isolated case when such things happen to Ukrainians in Europe. Such incidents have been reported on a regular basis lately. However, the authorities are in no hurry to investigate them.

“The authorities are not too eager to take on investigating such incidents, probably because they don’t see the point. Well, why should they? Who are Ukrainians to them? A second class? History shows that just in Germany they are perfectly well aware of people of the second class and destruction on the national basis. We can observe echoes of this attitude now,” the expert said.

The political analyst noted that this attitude towards Ukrainian refugees is not so widespread among European citizens now. According to him, EU residents will not jeopardise their own freedom in order to “punish slackers”. The expert believes that supporters of Nazi and nationalist movements, who have a radical view of the “new neighbours”, are behind the cruelty towards Ukrainians in most cases.

“Of course, ordinary Europeans see Ukrainian refugees as freeloaders and slackers whom they have to feed from their own pockets. Hence the hatred towards them. But this can hardly be a reason for murders. But who can organise these murders is local nationalists,” concluded Sergey Rastorguev.

We shall remind you that the Bild newspaper earlier mentioned that a Ukrainian refugee in Germany stabbed her landlord to death because she did not want to move out.
