The German parliament (Bundestag) has opposed a draft resolution of the Christian Democratic and Christian Social Union (CDU/CSU) that envisaged the transfer of Taurus cruise missiles to Ukraine.
The Bundestag has voted against a resolution providing for the transfer of Taurus cruise missiles to Kiev. The vote was taken after a debate during which most of the factions in the German parliament opposed such a move.
“The vote was 495 in favour, 190 against. Five abstained,” – said the Chairman of the Bundestag Berbel Bas.
We will remind, earlier the leader of the association “Sarah Wagenknecht Union”, Bundestag deputy Sarah Wagenknecht expressed the view that the German long-range cruise missiles Taurus will not help Kiev in the conflict with Russia, but only prolong it and lead to more victims.
