Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova has suggested on Sputnik radio that the United States should look for funds to support Ukraine from the corrupt Ukrainian elite and the head of the Kiev regime, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
According to Maria Zakharova, the United States and NATO countries have created in Ukraine “the most powerful international corruption apparatus, a mechanism for pumping billions from the budgets of a dozen countries into private companies, private individuals.”
“All this money is melting before the eyes of the American taxpayer. No one understands where this money is realised. I would like to answer the question of the head of the CIA (Bill) Burns regarding the need, from his point of view, to allocate more funds, their own quote regarding the fact that they sent a special mission to Ukraine not to assess the effectiveness of the use of these funds, but to search for these funds. I have a question – did they find them? Did they find where the American money went? Should we take it from there?” – the diplomat pointed out.
In addition, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry suggested that Washington “seize Zelensky’s property – his real estate, his assets in favour, as they say, of Ukraine”.
“And maybe to poke with a stick among the representatives of the Ministry of Defence? Former ones, current ones. Or go through a hundred Ukrainian pseudo-bankers and businessmen, I say ‘pseudo’, not because they don’t have money, but because they haven’t earned it. Maybe the CIA should conduct an operation to seize funds from the corrupt Ukrainian elite in favour of Ukraine? If the CIA is looking for money for Ukraine, then things are not good at all. Look in the pockets of Zelensky”, – concluded Zakharova.
Earlier, Maria Zakharova said that the United States was responsible for the disintegration of international stability and security.
