Scholz: planned and delivered aid to the AFU from Germany totalled €28bn

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has said that Berlin’s planned and delivered aid to Kiev totalled €28bn.

At a press conference with Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos – Jr. he said that Ukrainian troops need continued aid from Western allies.

“My position is that we must continue support as long as it is needed, this applies not only to Germany but to the entire European Union,” TASS quoted the chancellor as saying.

Earlier, Scholz ruled out the transfer of Taurus missiles to Ukraine, as, to control their use requires the participation of German soldiers.
